Flavors “Avó Piedade” When I was a little child I used to spend hours at my mother’s Piedade kitchen, watching her cooking for all of us: her sons, daughters and grandchildren. And there was something special about the way she cooked. It was with love, patience, time and dedication. No matter how long it would take, she always prepared the best and most delicious meals to all of us. The vegetables were fresh, organic and directly from our farm. The meat, milk and eggs were from our animals. Everything was natural, biological and organic. I still remember waking up in the morning, with the smell of the homemade bread, made on my mother’s wood fired oven. The aromatic herbs at our garden, gave a unique perfume to the house. After some years, I started to miss these past times at my mother’s house, and decided to return. Following her steps, I started cultivating the vegetables at the farm, the aromatic herbs at the garden, and preparing the bread and cooking all meals at her wood fired oven. Doing my best to follow her dedication, time and passion. And this is the experience I would like to offer you. A walk past in time, sitting at the same kitchen or garden, and experiencing her recipes at the same wood fired oven.
